  • Facilitate and enable end-to-end value delivery through Agile Release Trains (ARTs)—and learn how to build a high-performing ART by becoming a servant leader and coach—when you become a SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE).
  • Gain an in-depth understanding of the role and responsibilities of an RTE in the SAFe enterprise. Through experiential learning, you will examine the RTE role in a Lean- Agile transformation.
  • Facilitate ART processes and execution, coach leaders, teams and Scrum Masters in new processes and mindsets.
  • Learn how to prepare, plan, and execute a Planning Interval (PI) planning event, the primary enabler of alignment throughout all levels of a SAFe organization.

Prerequisites

No prerequisite

Everyone is invited to take the course, regardless of your experience. However, the following prerequisites are strongly recommended for those intending to take the SAFe® Release Train Engineer (RTE) certification exam :

  • Hold a SAFe certification
  • Have initiated or participated in at least one ART and one PI (Planning Interval)

Methods and tools

  • Training provided in French or English
  • Face-to-face or remote
  • Workbook and course support in English
  • Materials for practical exercises
  • Assessment of training through interactive questionnaires during the training to verify knowledge acquisition.
  • Platforms and tools used: Microsoft Teams, Zoom, Mural, Miro, Drive

Included in the training

  • English training materials and practical exercises
  • Preparation and eligibility for the SAFe® Release Train Engineer 6.0 exam
  • One-year subscription to the SAFe Studio community platform
  • Certificate of course attendance attestation.

Participants must attend the entire training in order to qualify for the exam.

Certification training

At the end of the training, candidates will receive a link to the SAFe Studio platform and will be able to take the exam. The first test is included in the training within 30 days. Each new test will then cost $50, payable directly on the SAFe Studio platform. Following successful completion of the exam, the candidate receives their certification which is valid for 1 year. This must be renewed annually and costs $295/year or through the SAFe enterprise subscription “SAFe Enterprise Subscription (SES)”.   • Exam format : Multiple choice questionnaire (MCQ)
  • Method: Via browser
  • Duration : 2 hours (120 minutes)
  • Number of questions : 60
  • Score to obtain : 45/60 (75%)
  • Language : Exam in English

At the end of the exam, you receive your results immediately.
